Kasisi Didier founded Semita TV in 2021, while churches were closed and families were at home. The station began with very little and grew into a 24-hour broadcast on StarTimes.
The name comes from John 14:6. Semita is Latin for “the way.” The station is non-denominational and teaches from Scripture.
The signal reaches homes in Rwanda, Uganda, Burundi, and the DRC.
To carry Scripture and Christian teaching into homes through television.
To produce programs in Kinyarwanda that teach, worship, and tell what God has done.

“Our members still hear the teaching when they cannot get to church. That has mattered on weeks when the service is far from home.”
“I put Umunsi Wanjye on in the morning before the children leave. It is in Kinyarwanda, so we all follow.”
“The reading is slow enough that I can stay with the passage. I do not need a picture to follow it.”
